School's Out and I'm Back - Hopefully

Well, now that school is officially out for the Christmas break, I hope to get back on top of things with the ole blog and let you know what's been happing/is happening in the Looper house.

Right now we're trying to adjust to having Mommy home all the time and not going to Nana's every day. It's been a difficult transition (both for Mommy and for Abby).

We're also preparing for Jake's first birthday, which is exactly one week from today. It's hard to imagine that this time last year I was in a panic because I realized that he was going to come into the world early. Now he's healthy (except for a runny nose and nasty cough) and pulling up and thinking about walking.

All in all, it's proving to be a hectic Christmas season, but I promise to try to make it back here often and update as much as I can.
