The Pale Blue Dot

I had my College and Careers class over for Bible study last night, and we watched a video by Louie Giglo called Indescribable. It truly was indescribable. He talks about the enormity of our universe and how small we are compared to the great big God we serve.

One image he shows is called the Pale Blue Dot. I had never seen this photograph, but it was taken by Voyager 1. The beams of light are sunlight, and that tiny speck caught in one of the rays is Earth. It's amazing that as small as we are in the scheme of the universe, God CHOSE (don't miss that -- Chose) to come and save us in our sin.

Take a moment and reflect on that. It's utterly amazing!
